Khoj Design Research Residency - Exhibition of works

IVS Gallery hosted an exhibition of seven works supported by Khoj - Design Research Residency on the 28th and 29th of September. Faculty from the University College of Art and Design, Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), SABS University of Art, Design and Heritages (SABSU), Karachi School of Art (KSA) and Arts Council Institute of Arts and Crafts (ACIAC) were awarded the grants after review while being mentored in the process by appointed mentors from IVS as well as practising designers and artists.

The works included Tal - Bell, a craft documentation and sound archive project, Bahawalpur Zoo, a visual identity and website project, Zoo Escape, an app-based hyper-casual game design, Sindhu, a proposal for performance-based tourism in Sindh, Ae Shehre Tezgam, a design pedagogy project, Makhfi - Hidden, a proposal for Urdu type based installations in public spaces, and A quest for Identity, a video installation exploring identity in the times of covid pandemic.
