POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PHOTOGRAPHY
The Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is committed to fostering creative exploration, critical inquiry and development of technical skills. With the establishment of the first ever Post-Graduate Diploma Program in Photography, IVS continues to play a pivotal role in the development of education in Pakistan.
This program caters to individuals who have a passion for photography and would like to progress to an advanced level in the field. While emphasizing on the power of looking and comprehending contemporary social issues as the core ingredients of the medium, the program aims to utilize digital technology with progressive image making trends in order to enter the professional arena of photography in the region.
A self-directed program, culminating in a final thesis project, the diploma provides a variety of core subjects including Commercial, Fashion, Portraiture, Photojournalism and Fine Art photography to cater to the individual needs of the students as well as the industry.
ELIGIBILITY
Requirement:
A Bachelor’s degree in any field and a portfolio of 15 to 20 images.
Applicants with an educational history in photography are preferred, however candidates with prior photography experience from other fields are also encouraged to apply to the program. Students may be asked to complete an introductory course in photography to be admitted into the program.
