If you are an academic or an artist interested in parting knowledge, IVS would like to hear from you!

We currently run seminars/lectures as well as workshops throughout the academic year. Most lectures are organized by the relevant faculty. Please contact the relevant faculty/department or get in touch with the Registrar.

Workshops are generally conducted in sets of six weeks for external students. However, departments also encourage short workshops by adjunct faculty, which are scheduled within the normal course curriculum.

The IVS was granted an independent charter by the Government of Sindh in June 1994, thereby empowering
it to award its own degrees. It was the fourth private institution of higher learning in Pakistan to be given degree awarding status.
Admission to the School is strictly based on merit as determined by an aptitude test, an interview process and a weightage criteria.
