Introduction
The availability of personal and career counseling services at the Indus Valley is an important requirement and need of our times. Our counseling service aims to provide inroads and help all the agencies involved in any educational activity to produce psychologically healthy people who are able to reflect on their potentialities, set new aspirations, deepen their self-understanding, and strive towards perfection.
We help and strive towards a holistic development of our students at Indus Valley . We make informed choices where the importance of the student, educational tasks, learning environment and the teacher are validated through activities that support the interactive importance of all these agencies. We work in the following areas:
Applied skill, proficiencies that are useful to learners' major subject related jobs and careers.
Self-improvement, an improved well-being, happiness, motivation, self-control, stress management, creativity, and so on.
Interpersonal skills , which is enhanced capacity to relate well with, appreciate, and respect other people.
Interpersonal sensitivity, an increased sensitivity to diversity and individual differences.
Ethics, an understanding of the role of ethical values in their personal and professional functioning.
