The Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture seeks to enroll highly motivated and
talented students from diverse backgrounds.

Admission to the Indus Valley School is made strictly on merit determined through
an aptitude test, followed by a panel interview.

The scholastic requirement for eligibility; 

  • for Undergraduate Degree programme is Intermediate pass with "C" grade or A- Level with a minimum "D" in two subjects other than English, or an equivalent International Baccalaureate.
  • for Postgraduate Diploma in Textile Design is a recognized Bachelors degree in any discipline.
  • for Diploma in Cinematic Arts is a recognized Bachelors degree in any discipline.

The school also offers financial assistance, in the form of Qarz-e-Hasna, an interest-free loan.

For further information, prospective students are welcome to visit the School, where the
application form and prospectus can be obtained. For students from outside Karachi,
it would be helpful to get anorientation of the city as well.

The IVS was granted an independent charter by the Government of Sindh in June 1994, thereby empowering
it to award its own degrees. It was the fourth private institution of higher learning in Pakistan to be given degree awarding status.
Admission to the School is strictly based on merit as determined by an aptitude test, an interview process and a weightage criteria.
